East Valley Disaster Services (EVDS) has performed restoration for a school classroom from a slab leak which caused water damage. A corroded underground copper pipe was leaking water underneath the concrete slab. This heavily leaking pipe caused the soil underneath the foundation to shift. Eventually the water created a crack in the foundation of the classroom.
It can be hard for a homeowner or business owner to know if there is a leak in an underground pipe. Usually the signs come after much damage has already been done to the structure. If you see significant changes in your home or building structure (see attached picture), hear water dripping or gushing, or have concerns you may have a leak, contact East Valley Disaster Services (EVDS). Your flood damage restoration experts.
